Are these rates including VAT?
Rates and standing charges shown by the interactive estimator are presented with their tax basis. Check the basis of any supplier quote before comparing. Most businesses pay 20% VAT, while qualifying low-use supplies may be eligible for 5% VAT and relief from the Climate Change Levy. From 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027, qualifying electricity in Great Britain (including business supplies under 1,000 kWh a month) is charged at 0% VAT; gas stays at 5%.
Are the rates a guaranteed price?
No. Reference rates provide general context, not a supplier tariff or offer. Your actual price depends on your site, usage and contract.
